Tips For Great Hair

People on television and in the magazines always have great hair. It’s styled. It’s shiny. It’s split end free. It’s absolutely perfect. They have great hair, making everyone who doesn’t have a professional hair stylist feel like great hair is far out of reach.

Most don’t realize that a few simple changes will make huge differences in your hair and most importantly, your confidence. Here are four quick tips to getting healthy hair that don’t need a professional’s help. Tip 1 - Choose the correct product: The condition of your hair can change multiple times depending on the products you are using.

There are many products out there that conceal hair problems instead of solving them. Many dandruff products for example use ingredients that act like glue to stick flakes to your scalp instead curing your scalp issue. That is not a solution. A proper product would help your scalp get healthy to prevent flakes, instead of just hiding the problem.

Getting healthy hair isn’t about removing everything from your hair that has built up through the day. It’s about making sure that your hair and scalp is balanced using natural products combined with your hair’s own natural oils to give you that commercial worthy head of hair. How do you find these reliable products? There are a few brands out there based with natural ingredients and real solutions to your hair issues.

Phyto is a hair care brand renowned for its specialized solutions, treatments, and styling products. Tip 2 - Rinse it out: Read any shampoo bottle and nine times out of ten, it will state the following: Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Or something to that effect. It is almost clich to hear those words, but how important is it really to rinse? Obviously we need to rinse the shampoo or conditioner or treatment out of our hair, but how? Well, here’s tip number two:

Rinse with cool water. It will close off the hair cuticle and make your hair less prone to damage. Plus, in closing off the cuticles, your hair has a smoother surface. Say hello to shiny hair! Tip 3 - Brush it healthy: How exactly do we brush our hair healthy? Just like the tip on products, brushes have a major effect on our hair’s appearance, and health. Mason Pearson has been known for many years for their high quality hand made boar bristle brushes.

Based on the thickness, coarseness, and length of your hair, Mason Pearson offers specific style brushes. A quality brush is crucial to healthy hair because it smooths the hair from knots and stimulates the scalp distributing natural oils through your hair giving it a natural, lustrous shine. Tip 4 - Styling: If you can’t stand the heat, get it off your hair!

If your hair is already breaking or dry and you think that styling it a certain way will make it appear in better health, you could be right. But remember, our goal is to get you truly healthy hair. Not hair that appears to be healthy. For instance, if you have curly hair and you like it to be straightened, but you’ve noticed that it has reduced in radiance, strength, or health in general, stop torturing it.

Instead, work with your hair. If your hair is curly buy a product that will cause as little build up as possible and that will work with your hair to enhance its natural beauty. Once your hair has become healthy again, go ahead and straighten it for special occasions. As mentioned before, work with what you have- don’t hide it. Any time you use heat on your hair to style it, make sure you use a product that will prevent heat damage.

Prevention is a lot easier than treating damaged hair. So go on, make a few little changes and get that gorgeous red-carpet worthy hair that all your friends will envy.

The most painless yet psychologically painful ailment that afflicts us is falling hair. Falling hair is a condition that affects both men and women. If left unattended, this condition can worsen and result in permanent hair loss leading to baldness.

Therefore it is very important to find a solution for your falling hair as early as possible. The root cause for falling hair is both hereditary and hormonal. In men, the prostrate gland can trigger a loss of hair with excessive production of hormone called DHT. This hormone is a more severe version of testosterone.

The excess production of this hormone results in the shrinking of hair follicles, which in turn result in falling hair. The solution for falling hair can be a combination of medicines as prescribed by the doctor and good nutrition coupled with good grooming. Use only good quality shampoos and oil. Comb the hair gently with a god comb. Dry the hair after a head bath and then comb gently.

Do You Struggle With Dry Hair?

Do not leave the hair unattended for long periods of time as this may lead to the hair becoming sticky and rough hair leading to hair loss.Identify the factors for falling hair before looking for a solution for your falling hair. The cause varies form individual to individual. It could be any one of the below mentioned causes or a combination of factors that lead to falling hair.

Stress, hormonal imbalance, ailments like Typhoid, nutritional deficiency, deficiency of Folic acid, effects of Chromotheraphy, treatment for cancer and pregnancy. Some of the solutions for falling hair can be found at home. Use oil with extracts of Amla, or hibiscus.

A combination of medicines and home remedies would be the ideal solution for falling hair. However, there is no quick fix solution to falling hair. Regular and timely care is the only lasting solution to falling hair.

Can You Eat Your Way To Better Hair!

Limejuice can be applied to the scalp and allowed to dry for some time before taking a head bath.

This will arrest fling hair by keeping the scalp clean and healthy. You can also apply a paste of Fenugreek seeds soaked overnight and apply it all over the scalp. Allow it to sink in for about an hour before taking a bath. Applying coconut milk all over the scalp is also another effective solution for falling hair. Using castor oil as hair oil regularly will also help in preventing hair from falling.

Iodine and vitamin B1 deficiency can also be the factors that lead to falling hair. Therefore look for solutions with a combination of home remedies and mild medications for a proper solution for your falling hair. Falling hair if left untreated can lead to permanent baldness in men. In case of permanent hair loss, the only option available to men is to either wear a wig or go in for hair transplantation.

With the advent of modern medicine, hair transplantation has been fairly successful. Therefore if you suffer from falling hair do not despair, there is a suitable remedy at hand. Go for it and regain your beauty and your confidence.

3 Home Solutions As a Dry Hair Treatment

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Thousands of women suffer with the issue of dry hair and look for easy to use treatments to help to solve the problem. I will share with you three Home Hair treatment answers made form items you have in your kitchen. The problem of dry hair is one that can ruin your image of yourself. Women who are looking for a solution to the dry hair dilemma can spend hundreds of dollars a year on treatments promising to bring a healthy shone and body to their hair only to be disappointed with the results.

What a lot of women don't realize is that their mothers and grandmothers also suffered with this problem and found the answer years ago right in their kitchen cupboard. These solutions were shared with me by my mother and I will gladly share them with you now.

1) Safflower oil For Dry Hair

Start by placing a couple of drops of the safflower oil into your palms, proceed to rub them together; You will then want to take your hair and begin to massage a small amount of oil into your hair starting with the ends first and work toward the scalp; Leave this in your hair for roughly 20-30 minutes.

Safflower oil is remarkable close to the natural oils in your hair and is readily absorbed by the hair and retained. This allows it to do the same job as the oils you are missing which makes your hair dry. This is for a relatively mild case of dry hair for a more moderate case try the next option.

2) Olive oil to Moisturize Your Hair

Start by warming up one half a cup of olive oil; You will then want to take the olive oil and begin to massage it through your hair; You will then want to wrap your hair in plastic, followed by wrapping your head in a warm towel; Leave your hair like this for 30 minutes; Wash out using a shampoo that is suited for dry hair, these are available at your local store or hair salon. This procedure may sound like something you would find being done in an upscale southern California salon.

The truth is you would find this being done in some of the more premier salons, not because its part of the latest fad of using naturals and food for beauty but because for generations it's been know to work wonders for fry damaged hair. The olive oil has a wide range of chemical compounds, especially complex proteins which feed hair and leave it soft, bouncy and manageable.

The natural shining ability of olive oil is great for giving you a brilliant shimmer without a lot of pricey brand name lotions.Again this is for a moderate case and should solve the problem for most mid range cases but for those with a sever case of dry hair or those who just want to give their hair and intense therapy, try the next and most intensive treatment solution.

3) Egg Everyone has it in Their Refrigerator

You will want separate the egg whites of an egg from the yolk, after you do this you will want to beat the white thoroughly. Next add one tablespoon of water to the egg yolk that you separated and mix until the mixture is creamy. After you have done this you will want to blend the white and yolk together. You will then want to make sure your head is thoroughly wet and apply the mixture to your head using the tips of your fingers. Rinse your head extremely well making sure to get all the mixture out of your hair.

Here you are introducing pure proteins and amino acids into the hair and are allowing the hair to absorb them in an intensive way. You should perform the egg treatment 2-3 times a week for 3-4 weeks. Using a milk and honey rinse on the days that you are not using the egg. Once you have achieved the desired results continue to use the milk and honey treatment 2-3 times a week and the egg treatment every 7-10days (not on the same days) to keep your hair silky smooth and lively.

Using these treatments I hope you find the solution to your dry hair problems. These treatments have been proven to work and are relatively cheap and easy to perform. The items are easily available from your local grocery store and you can apply the treatments yourself with no help in under five minutes. I guess its true what they say, listen to your mother, she does know everything.
