Use only good quality shampoos and oil. Comb the hair gently with a god comb. Dry the hair after a head bath and then comb gently.

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Thousands of women suffer with the issue of dry hair and look for easy to use treatments to help to solve the problem. I will share with you three Home Hair treatment answers made form items you have in your kitchen. The problem of dry hair is one that can ruin your image of yourself. Women who are looking for a solution to the dry hair dilemma can spend hundreds of dollars a year on treatments promising to bring a healthy shone and body to their hair only to be disappointed with the results.

What a lot of women don't realize is that their mothers and grandmothers also suffered with this problem and found the answer years ago right in their kitchen cupboard. These solutions were shared with me by my mother and I will gladly share them with you now.

1) Safflower oil For Dry Hair

Start by placing a couple of drops of the safflower oil into your palms, proceed to rub them together; You will then want to take your hair and begin to massage a small amount of oil into your hair starting with the ends first and work toward the scalp; Leave this in your hair for roughly 20-30 minutes.

Safflower oil is remarkable close to the natural oils in your hair and is readily absorbed by the hair and retained. This allows it to do the same job as the oils you are missing which makes your hair dry. This is for a relatively mild case of dry hair for a more moderate case try the next option.

2) Olive oil to Moisturize Your Hair

Start by warming up one half a cup of olive oil; You will then want to take the olive oil and begin to massage it through your hair; You will then want to wrap your hair in plastic, followed by wrapping your head in a warm towel; Leave your hair like this for 30 minutes; Wash out using a shampoo that is suited for dry hair, these are available at your local store or hair salon. This procedure may sound like something you would find being done in an upscale southern California salon.

The truth is you would find this being done in some of the more premier salons, not because its part of the latest fad of using naturals and food for beauty but because for generations it's been know to work wonders for fry damaged hair. The olive oil has a wide range of chemical compounds, especially complex proteins which feed hair and leave it soft, bouncy and manageable.

The natural shining ability of olive oil is great for giving you a brilliant shimmer without a lot of pricey brand name lotions.Again this is for a moderate case and should solve the problem for most mid range cases but for those with a sever case of dry hair or those who just want to give their hair and intense therapy, try the next and most intensive treatment solution.

3) Egg Everyone has it in Their Refrigerator

You will want separate the egg whites of an egg from the yolk, after you do this you will want to beat the white thoroughly. Next add one tablespoon of water to the egg yolk that you separated and mix until the mixture is creamy. After you have done this you will want to blend the white and yolk together. You will then want to make sure your head is thoroughly wet and apply the mixture to your head using the tips of your fingers. Rinse your head extremely well making sure to get all the mixture out of your hair.

Here you are introducing pure proteins and amino acids into the hair and are allowing the hair to absorb them in an intensive way. You should perform the egg treatment 2-3 times a week for 3-4 weeks. Using a milk and honey rinse on the days that you are not using the egg. Once you have achieved the desired results continue to use the milk and honey treatment 2-3 times a week and the egg treatment every 7-10days (not on the same days) to keep your hair silky smooth and lively.

Using these treatments I hope you find the solution to your dry hair problems. These treatments have been proven to work and are relatively cheap and easy to perform. The items are easily available from your local grocery store and you can apply the treatments yourself with no help in under five minutes. I guess its true what they say, listen to your mother, she does know everything.
